What Are Class II Slots

US federal law divides games at Native American tribal casinos into three classes. Class II games determine results using bingo; the screen looks like a regular slot, but the win is actually decided by the result of a bingo draw in which multiple machines take part. Class III games, like regular casino slots, have an RNG inside the machine decide the result, and they can only be operated under a compact between the tribe and the state government. AGS started in the Class II market and has expanded into Class III and regular commercial casinos.

Business model

  • Slots – several cabinets including Glow, Spectra, Rebel, and Orion
  • Progressives – jackpot systems linking multiple machines (Jackpot types)
  • Table games – proprietary table games and card shufflers
  • Online (AGSi) – supplies popular land-based games to regulated online casinos

Rakin’ Bacon

“Rakin’ Bacon” is AGS’s signature series featuring a pig character. After the first title came out in 2018, several sequels followed, and it became the company’s most successful slot series. Breaking the piggy bank, collecting coins, and the jackpot structure are the core of the game.
