Evolution announced the agreement to acquire Nolimit City on June 22, 2022. It was worth up to 340 million euros in total: 200 million euros upfront plus up to 140 million euros in additional payments (earn-out) tied to 2022-2024 EBITDA. At the time of the announcement, Nolimit City’s expected 2022 revenue was 30 million euros and EBITDA was 23 million euros, an EBITDA margin of 77%. It had about 100 employees.
After the acquisition, Nolimit City operates as a slot brand alongside NetEnt, Red Tiger, and Big Time Gaming in the same Evolution group. Co-founder Jonas Tegman also stayed with the company after the acquisition.
