Infinity Reels and signature series
In Infinity Reels, a new reel is added on the right after every win, and the multiplier rises as the reels increase. NetEnt was also building its own similar “InfiniReels”, but instead of competing, the two companies agreed to protect each other’s mechanics together. After the trademark was later licensed to another company, Infinity Reels became a genre of its own.
ReelPlay is also known for its “10K Ways” series, which uses 10,000 winning paths, and for the hit “Hypernova Megaways”. After joining YG Masters, it also released many games using Yggdrasil mechanics such as GigaBlox, MultiMax, and DoubleMax (provider-specific mechanics).
A role connecting partner studios
Besides developing its own games, ReelPlay also polishes games from smaller partner studios and releases them through YG Masters. For example, Boomerang Games’ Lady Merlin Lightning Chase and Wild Joker Stacks came out through ReelPlay. That’s why some of these partner titles are mixed in among the 76 games credited as “ReelPlay × Yggdrasil” on AI Slot.
