Overview
Reflex Gaming is a UK gaming machine company founded in 2004 by Quentin Stott and Simon Dawson. Its headquarters are in Newark, Nottinghamshire, England. It has built reel and video slot machines for pubs, arcades, bingo halls, and members’ clubs, and is described as the largest independent gaming machine manufacturer in the UK.
It positions itself as an “omnichannel” supplier that makes both land-based machines and online slots. Its online games come out through the YG Masters program of Yggdrasil, under the joint branding “Reflex Gaming × Yggdrasil”.
From Machine Maker to Online
Reflex runs its own platform, “Slingshot,” which links digital machines in venues together. As of 2022, more than 4,500 digital machines in the UK and the Netherlands were connected to this platform.
In June 2019, Gameco Holdings, the holding company that owns Reflex, was acquired by the Dransfield Novelty Company of Leeds. Dransfield is the largest independent gaming machine operator in the UK and has been family-run for over 70 years. After the acquisition, the management team led by Quentin Stott stayed in place.
